Trombone Kellie Gang is one of the hardest working bands on the Northern Rivers today. Performing from the Sunshine Coast to the Byron Hinterlands. They have a well deserved reputation of being truly entertaining and fully engaging, with the perfect recipe for Street Blues, jazz swing, gospel, soul and a bit of rock and roll. Fronted by the infamous Trombone Kellie, whose powerful vocal delivery and roots blues trombone playing feature alongside some great guitar work by Scrubby Pete. The engine room is simply brilliant with Toby Baron a veteran drummer of the London Blues scene who has played with some of the UK’s finest blues musicians, and Justin Pfeiffer on double bass, who’s musical career now spans 40 years exclusively on Bass, electric and double bass. Originally from Adelaide Justin lived in Japan in the late 80’s exposed to a variety of musical forms before returning to Australia in 2000.
