VOLUNTEER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rockabilly Australia Pty Ltd

By submitting this volunteer application form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Volunteer Acknowledgment

You understand that your participation as a volunteer with Rockabilly Australia is entirely voluntary and that you will receive no financial compensation for your services.

2. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that volunteering may involve certain risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury or property damage
  • Exposure to crowds, equipment, and event environments
  • Travel to and from volunteer activities

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation as a volunteer.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

You hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Rockabilly Australia Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you or any property belonging to you while participating in volunteer activities.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rockabilly Australia Pty Ltd from any loss, liability, damage, or costs that may arise due to your participation as a volunteer, including those caused by your own negligence.

5. Medical Treatment

You authorize Rockabilly Australia to secure emergency medical treatment if necessary, and you agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.

6. Media Release

You grant Rockabilly Australia permission to use photographs, videos, or other media featuring your likeness taken during volunteer activities for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without compensation.

7. Conduct and Compliance

You agree to:

  • Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Rockabilly Australia staff
  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully
  • Comply with all applicable laws and venue regulations
  • Represent Rockabilly Australia positively in the community

8. Confidentiality

You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive business information, client details, or internal operations you may become aware of during your volunteer service.

9. Termination

You understand that Rockabilly Australia reserves the right to terminate your volunteer participation at any time, with or without cause, and that you may withdraw from volunteering at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

By submitting the Rockabilly Australia Volunteer Application Form, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18), and you have read and fully understand these terms and conditions. You acknowledge that your electronic submission constitutes your legally binding acceptance of this agreement.
